Two people were shot in Lansdowne in Delaware County on Saturday afternoon, a law enforcement source told NBC10.
The source also told NBC10 that law enforcement is actively investigating the incident, but could not add more about what happened or who the victims were.
Multiple police cars and officials, including the Delaware County District Attorney, were still at two crime scenes — one on Berkley Avenue and another a block away at Drexel Avenue — when NBC10 arrived.
Crime tape was still blocking the roads as well.
Neighbors said they heard what they firs thought were fireworks, but now think were gunshots.
Donald Nee, one of the neighbors, also told NBC10 that he saw people running, blood on the sidewalk and a victim.
“A bullet went through one car, and there’s a bloodstain on the sidewalk,” Nee said. “I’ve never lived near this kind of stuff, and I hope it’s not a sign for what’s coming. But I don’t know, I might be moving.”
