Two people were hospitalized after they fell off a roof and into an empty pool at a home in Weston on Wednesday, authorities said.
The incident happened at a home along the 4100 block of Boston Court, in a neighborhood a little north of Griffin Road and west of Interstate 75.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue officials said both people were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital as trauma alerts, one by air and one by ground.
Their identities and exact conditions weren’t released.
Aerial footage from Chopper 6 showed a large amount of blood in the pool, and it appeared some type of work was being performed on the roof.

Officials said they’re trying to determine whether the people were workers or residents.
