AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person died after a crash on West Parmer Lane near Interstate 35 and the Tech Ridge Center in north Austin on Tuesday night, said Austin-Travis County EMS.
Medics and the Austin Fire Department responded to a serious motor collision in the 500 block of W. Parmer Lane, ATCEMS said in a post on X.
The Austin Police Department said both directions on Parmer Lane between I-35 and Center Lake Drive were shut down due to the deadly crash. The lanes were reopened as of 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Authorities asked drivers to avoid the area and to expect delays.
