09/13/2025: The Coolest and Cloudiest on the 7-Day

The Latest Storm Tracker Forecast from Meteorologist Kevin Appleby:

A weak disturbance dropping down from the north will send more clouds and very minimal shower chances to the region for the weekend. Even for the select few of folks that see a shower, it won’t add up to much, if anything at all. Another stretch of sunny, comfortable weather awaits us for the upcoming work week, this time around featuring several days with forecast high temps at 80 degrees or higher.

Saturday is the cloudier half of the weekend. Even then, enough sun will be featured to boost temperatures to around where they got to yesterday – mainly in the mid 70s.

Coverage of showers will be at its “greatest” (still very isolated) later this afternoon, with mainly light rain showers. After most of us stay dry overnight, a select few of us will contend with spotty showers on Sunday.

With more cloud cover, temperatures will stay elevated overnight, with many above the 50 degree mark for a change.

With more consistent sun Sunday, temperatures push the 80 degree mark on the valley floor.

Similar temperatures are on tap for Monday and Tuesday, with Tuesday being slightly warmer than Monday. Both days will feature wall-to-wall sunshine (along with some valley fog in the mornings).

Temperatures stay on the toasty side of things for mid-September for the remainder of the forecast. Rain chances remain near zero, but a bit more cloud cover is anticipated for the second half of the upcoming work week.
